A moment ago I came across a batshit insane trend on the face slappingly popular “Tinder” platform all the rage these days with young adults who don’t have the guts to waltz up to someone and say “hi”…
Apparently some girl on the dating app put the phrase “send $5 and see what happens…” on her bio and all the boys lost their minds! ( as expected considering most teenage boys think with their schlongs and not their brains )
In their hormone driven lust mode these poor bastards actually started sending the girl $5 in droves hoping to get some kind of reward for the so called generosity. ( As if $5 actually gets anywhere in this economy… )
Moving on as you sadly might have guessed the trend caught on fast and now girls are turning their Tinder profiles into separate income streams by exploiting the horny masses online.
And there are two lessons we can learn from this small social experiment.
Lesson 1 – If someone has a winner, copy the appeal and see if you can claim your fair share of the market.
Lesson 2 – Curiosity is an ultra powerful sales tool. Don’t underestimate the power of an itch that needs to be scratched. Even if it costs them moolah to scratch it.
After all, Legendary Copywriter Mel Martin was so good at using curiosity his ads made people buy the goods even if he never told them what they where worth.
