Woops. Sorry about that. Was watching this video where this guy was trying to raise funding for his idea online. He had a novel idea. Something everyone would give a damn about.
But dammit he sounded so bored and lifeless I fell asleep two seconds into the video. Listen:
Have you ever got yourself into a conversation with someone who was so boring it felt like you where watching paint dry? Have you ever spent some time with someone who was so robotic and unemotional that it was a literal battle just to stay awake? Well believe it or not such people do exist. And they’re not fun to be around either.
The problem now, comes when your copy feels like you’re listening to one of the above mentioned robots drone on and on about their so called product and the only thing you want is to rip your eardrums out just so you don’t have to put up with their monotonous babbling.
This will not only murder your pitch, but it will probably murder your prospects with pure boredom too.
Here’s point I’m trying to make
If you want your prospects to sit through your pitch you’re going to need some enthusiasm.
You’re going to need to show some life in your delivery. Whether in video. Whether in writing. Whether in audio… YOU MUST FEEL ALIVE!
Your prospects are already bored, don’t make it any worse for them.
And yes, in case you’re wondering it is possible to be both proffesional and passionate. Look at Elon Musk when he talks about his self driving death traps. Dude fucking loves what he does! That guy talks about his environmentally friendly production methods with the fervor of a Star Trek Fanboy at a Trekkie convention… yet he still maintains his proffesional demeanor.
That’s what you need.
Excitement so powerful your prospect can FEEEEEL it coursing through the copy and into their bodies!
Get that into your copy and your personality automatically shines through!
In fact as a side note, I actually go full blow fanboy when I write copy for my clients. I spend so much time engrossed in the product that I essentially become it’s biggest fan. End result?
I’m pretty much gushing out my feels and passion into the copy with pure unrefined enthusiasm.
And, if you want me to inject some much needed life, enthusiasm and energy into your copy in a way that will slap your prospects awake and hold their attention tight, then hit me up over at:

PS Need a good example of ultra passionate copy? Google Gary Bencivenga’s Freshly Pressed Olive Oil copy.
It’s amazing how he gushed over Olive Oil with so much love that it essentially forces you to start loving the oil too.
I don’t know how he does it.
But dammit that man knows how to set hearts on fire.
No wonder he’s called the greatest copywriter alive.
