Okay, color me shocked.
This morning, while eating breakfast I was watching a video of Stanley Lau painting. That man is real master. Each stroke just blends into the next one and over time you watch the painting just… come to life.
It’s breathtaking I tell ya.
So, during the video a moment came when Stanley opened his web browser to check on an email. When he opened the browser he was actually on a YouChoob channel owned by another established artist.
I was stunned. You’d think someone as good as him never needed to learn anything else because he pretty much has the whole “art thing” fidured out.
But you’d be wrong.
Even the masters are constantly learning.
That’s what makes them “masters”.
In fact, stagnation is actually one of the leading causes of personal failure. I’ve seen people lose their touch as soon as they proclaimed “I don’t need practice”. This pattern has repeated itself for me to know that the moment you stop learning is the moment you die…. figuratively of course… not the whole six feet under thing.
That being said, one of the greatest services you can make to your customers is to make sure once they buy your course from you, they keep studying it.
Nobody ever learns from a course or a book after reading it just once.
In fact, some people never even read the books or go through the courses after they buy them.
Sounds too far fetched?
Well it’s not.
Problem is if your customers don’t use what they buy then they’re not going to ascend up your funnel and buy your higher level products. Or, if you’re running a monthly subscription they’re super likely to deactivate their accounts because they’re not getting anything out of it.
This is why you must keep selling your products even after the prospect has already bought from you. Send them emails to remind them to consume the damn course. Send them emails to remind them they made the right choice.
Send them emails to make sure they get results from their investment… so they’ll be motivated to come back as return customers, fully convinced YOUR way of doing things kicks ass.
