Argh come on!
Three times this year now!?
Excuse me as I rant a bit. I was browsing Ye Olde Facebook when I came across a set of pictures. These pictures where uploaded by a girl I hit on a few years ago but couldn’t take things any further because of logistics.
First my grandfather had to visit on the one night I wanted to invite her over for a session of bedroom cha-cha, then she had to permanently move hallway across the country a few days later… Talk about cockblocks… well:
I accepted my circumstances and deemed her one of the few girls I’ll never get together with.
And now, 3 years later I see pictures of her pregnant of Social Media and the first thing that came to my mind was…
“Congratulation. I hope this works out well for you. I wonder if I can buy the baby’s middle name in a naming auction?”
But, the second thing that came to my mind ( and the IMPORTANT one ) is…
“Dammit I should have tried harder to close the deal”.
It hurts seeing a girl you where so close to closing the deal with… with another guy getting ready to spend the rest of her with him… especially knowing YOU never had the balls to try closing the deal with her.
She’s not the only girl this has happened to.
She is actually the third this year.
Three girls I have to live with the eternal regret of knowing that I never closed the deal and enjoyed a round of bedroom cha-cha with because I lacked the gonads to close the damn deal…. leaving the door open for SOMEONE ELSE to take her instead.
I hang my head in shame.
My ancestors frown upon me and my descendants shall laugh at my sheer impotence.
Meh… fuck it.
It’s a learning experience.
Plus, it’s the exact same thing with your customers. When someone opts into your email list you’re not guaranteed they actually want to buy anything.
But dammit if they ARE going to buy it better be from YOU and not your competitor.
And that’s why you must email your list often ( daily if possible ) to make sure YOU are the first thing on their minds when they finally whip out their credits cards.
Remember the golden rule:
“Thou shalt have the balls to follow up with email and close the sale with a lead. For if a lead goes to your competitor it will sting.”
That being said, have me look through your current email funnel and tell you exactly what you’re doing wrong in a complementary strategy call. Book yours over here:
