Today, I’m going to discuss one of the most important assets you can have in your business. Especially if it’s online.
But first, let me put it all into context…
To start with… my best friend’s in the hospital apparently.
Don’t worry, he’s doing fine. Had a talk with his bog bro and his condition is stable.
However, the whole deal does remind me of why I absolutely hate visiting hours at hospitals. Well, private hospitals at least.
You see, the guards at private hospitals here have a strict 2 visitor limit and they make sure nobody slips through.
I swear you have a better chance getting through the gaps in a brick wall than sneaking past those bastards.
It would be much easier if the patient was given home treatment where anyone can come see them at any time they want but there’s a limit to how much you can help at home. Sometimes you gotta the trained doctors and nurses do their job.
It’s a shame how it is extremely limiting when it comes to you actually spending time with the patient ( but it’s better for them in the long run )
Pros of proper healthcare aside, this visiting restriction is similar to what happens to your marketing if you don’t have the “huge asset” I mentioned earlier.
Let me explain…
When your audience is on a platform you’re not in control of you’re at the mercy of whoever runs that platform. And whatever restrictions they have placed on you.
It’s just like having to talk to your audience only under their terms… as if you’re being watched by a pair of paranoid hospital guards overdosing on Red Bull, making sure you don’t do things your way otherwise you’d mess up the convenient little “system” they have going..
You name em…Facebook, Twitter, Instagram… you’re at the mercy of whatever the big shots are scheming.
And they can take the connection you have with your audience out with the snap of a finger if you’re not careful.
However, if you’re in control of where your audience is. If you have that “huge asset” I keep yammering about…
Then you don’t have much to worry about.
And what is this huge asset I won’t shut up about?
It’s an email list.
And not any email list. But your own email list.
One you control.
And one you mail to on a regular basis.
That way nobody but you can take that list from you.
If you want email written in your voice, which grip your list’s pain points and speaks to them on a deep level. Driving them to buy from you…
Then get me to write your emails.
Hit me up over at:
And let’s drive your list into a buying frenzy…
Till the next wave of madness.
