After years of trying to stretch our supplies, we just couldn’t do it. Right now… content, ideas and products are being ripped off left right and center.
And I’m not talking about “swiping” concepts for inspiration.
I mean literally ripping off whole passages of content as they are!
Copying ideas so closely, you can’t tell them from the original!
And shameless copies of products which would make anti cloning activists froth at the mouth.
This is just plain depressing.
Just when you think the world’s reached an all time low for laziness… someone has to go stealing your hard work and nabbing all the credit.
However, this almost never works. Con artists have tried for decades to try stealing someone else’s copy and pitches with no luck. Even Robert Collier, author of the Robert Collier letter book had to mention how their competitors tried copying their pitches as-is… with no luck.
And today, it’s even harder to try pulling it off. The internet makes it easy for your customers to blow the whistle on content thieves.
Especially for personal marketing platforms like email. Where your subscribers are usually getting emails from several marketers in your market… and can quickly point out anyone dumb enough to steal.
Long story short:
It’s never worth it. And you will get caught anyway. But you don’t need me to tell you that… do you?
