Believe it or not I’m writing this on my tablet.
Apparently the freak thunderstorm we had yesterday messed up power grid so bad we where knocked all the way back to the dark ages. Not saying that’s a bad thing really, I have time to catch up to my stack of books plus the peace and quiet which comes from not having electricity is somewhat therapeutic to a madman of my caliber.
These things happen.
To all of us.
You might find yourself traveling without a computer to see some relatives, or you might end up stuck in a foreign airport with just the free Wi-Fi being dished out by the airline to soothe your nerves along with a tub of cheap ice cream.
Because you can never predict these…. situations, always be prepared for the worst. And carry a device you can do a fair amount of work on.
It can be an iPad, or a phone you’re comfortable writing on. Or an extra small laptop. Or an antiquated gold plated typewriter with my face embossed into the sides.
It doesn’t matter what you use as long as you can get some work done. Don’t expect to work at a full 100% though. Yet at the same time don’t allow your productivity to go down to 0%.
Kinda like how Batman is somehow ALWAYS prepared for anything to happen, and probably carries an entire arsenal plus a kitchen sink in that magical belt of his.
Anyways, till the next wave of madness…Vae Victo
