Cockroaches suck donkeyballs.
Seriously, those…THINGS scamper around everywhere and make life a living hell.
I’ve been hunting down an exterminator with my big bro over the past few days. As much as I’d have preferred to set the whole house on fire he insisted we resort to more… elegant solution. Unfortunately some of the exterminators we got on the phone with wanted to rush in and spray the pests with the eagerness of a teenage boy about to lose his virginity to his favorite porn star.
I appreciate their trigger happy attitude, but we weren’t going to have our pest control done by someone who wasn’t at least going to come get a lay of the land and actually come up with a strategy which doesn’t involve rushing in blindly like an idiot.
We spent a while going through all the potential candidates till we found someone who not only knew what he was doing, but also found all their hiding spots.
This guy totally had us impressed.
We ended up hiring him on the spot.
You see, this guy took the time to build trust with us buy showing that he had a strategy for dealing with the problem and wasn’t going to rush in blindly on a gut feeling. With just that small demonstration of competence and skill we got a good idea how reliable this bug killing expert was.
And it’s the same with your prospect.
Demonstrate your competence and show them that you’re not going to blindly rush into the problem without a strategy. Or even show them how much though went into developing your solution to solve their problem in your copy.
