However, here’s the real kicker.
Their deaths weren’t just “in their dreams”. They also died in reality. Scary shit, isn’t it?
Now, in order to pull this shit off, Freddie preyed on the latent fear in Elm Street. As long as people where still thinking of him, utterly terrified he’ll come for them next… He could feed off that fear and pop up in their dreams.
Aside from the obvious Matrix similarities, Freddy’s murder strategy is exactly the same as how email marketing works.
